I was born in Amery WI and spent all of my childhood in Western Wisconsin. I attended and graduated from St. Croix Central Highschool in Hammond, Wisconsin and attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota for four years, earning a BA in economics with an emphasis in finance.

I met my husband Doug while attending college. We lived in Iowa City, IA and NE Minneapolis prior to settling in Blaine. We have one daughter, Ella, and we have called Blaine home for nearly 20 years.

I believe our community is filled with diverse, smart, passionate people. Community is my priority — NOT politics, which means I am here to listen. I am proud to live and do business in Blaine – Blaine is the 3rd fastest growing city in Minnesota and it is the largest municipality in Anoka County. I would be honored to be elected to city council and to serve with Mayor Tim Sanders and the other talented and passionate council members. Commissioner, Julie Jeppson’s shoes will be difficult to fill – she and the rest of City Council have worked tirelessly to leverage all of the good things Blaine has to offer in the interest of making Blaine a premier city of the metro area.
